Partway through a season, a nation can call the Leviathan: a giant
armoured serpent that surfaces near the world’s claims and fights until it dies or the clock
runs out. Summoning is a nation’s decision; the fight is open to everyone — the summoning
nation gets no special cut.
A Sovereign or officer runs:
/etnation raid summon
Conditions (defaults, server-configurable):
The world is told the Leviathan stirs. A pillar of light marks the site, and it emerges
5 minutes later. From then on you have 45 minutes to kill it.
The Leviathan is a head with 8 armour plates trailing behind it.
Every special ability hits at ×1.8 of its base. Its debuffs are Tensura effects, so your
resistances apply — but the Leviathan’s hits are stamped to beat Resistance and Nullification
skills and most barriers, so nothing about it can be ignored outright.
| Phase | What it does |
|---|---|
| Hunting (100–75%) | Tail Whip — a wide arc from the last three plates that also drains 10% of your current aura. Coil Lock — telegraphed, then it chases and constricts; while coiled you take damage every second and cannot spend magicule or aura. Breaking any plate releases the coil. Body Slam — a telegraphed dash that knocks you up and leaves you fragile for 5 s. |
| Abyssal (75–50%) | Tidal Bolt — a projectile with a splash that interferes with your magic. Tidal Wave — a 20-block crest that shoves, chills and drains 10% aura. Abyssal Pressure — a zone that drags you inward while dealing damage over time. Depth Charge — spouts appear under the three nearest players and burst 1.5 s later; step off the mark. Undertow — a pull that also blocks teleporting out. |
| Frenzy (50–25%) | Both kits, cooldowns at 60%, twin bolts, contact damage ×1.5. |
| Abyssal Maw (at 25% and 5%) | A 3-second roar, then a spin that pulls everyone within 12 blocks. Anyone still inside when it bites takes ×2.0 damage within 6 blocks and loses half of their current magicule and aura. Get out of the 12-block ring during the roar. |
The boss bar shows its state (Submerged / Exposed / plate count), the phase name, and whether
it is enraged. Once it surfaces, the Boss Contribution panel
shows the top three damage dealers and your own share live.
Two things that do not work on it: soul-eating attacks (Merciless, Beelzebuth’s Soul
Consume) and mind control or sleep. Spiritual damage against it is heavily reduced.
Kill the head and the spoils are paid to everyone who dealt damage, no matter their nation:
A share of a 60 point Legacy pool, split by damage, with a floor of
2 points for any real contribution.
Every nation whose members dealt damage gets a share of a 120 point
season ladder pool, by nation damage share.
The top damage dealer and the killer each earn the Legendary Tidebreaker title.
Everyone who dealt at least 3% of the total damage gets a Tide Scale
boss relic; the top damage dealer gets two.
No crate keys and no treasury spoils. Apart from the Tide Scale, the Leviathan pays in season currency.
If the timer runs out or every player logs off, the Leviathan recedes. Nothing is paid, the
summon fee is not refunded, and the season’s raid is still used up. An admin killing it
with a command counts as a cancel, not a kill.
If the server restarts mid-fight the raid is lost the same way — there is no resuming it.
