Intrinsic skill · granted by Medium Saiyan and above
A crimson battle aura that multiplies your energy pools far past their normal limit. It is the
single strongest burst tool in the addon, and it hurts you the entire time it is running.
You cannot learn Kaioken with EP. It comes with the Medium Saiyan race and persists through
Saiyan evolution — you keep it at High and Divine.
| Tier | Energy multiplier | Unlocked at |
|---|---|---|
| Kaioken | ×2 | Always available |
| Kaioken x3 | ×3 | 100,000 EP |
| Kaioken x10 | ×10 | 1,000,000 EP |
| Kaioken x20 | ×20 | 10,000,000 EP and the skill mastered |
The multiplier applies to your maximum magicule and aura — and your pools are filled to that
new maximum the instant you transform. A ×10 Kaioken does not just raise your ceiling, it hands
you the energy to use it.
Each tier also grants flat combat stats that scale with the tier: attack damage, armor and
movement speed.
You can only select a tier your current EP allows. If your EP drops after you picked a tier,
your request is automatically clamped down to what you actually qualify for rather than failing.
| Value | |
|---|---|
| Duration | 3 minutes, or 6 minutes once mastered |
| Cooldown | 60 seconds per activation |
While active, every second you burn health and energy, scaled by tier. A ×20 Kaioken drains
twenty times as hard as a ×2.
The drain cannot kill you — it stops at 10% of your maximum health. You will be left at the
edge, not on the floor.
When Kaioken ends, you get Weakness, Fragility and Paralysis for 10 minutes.
That is not a small debuff window. It is a third of an hour where you are barely functional, and
it applies whether the transformation ran its full duration or not.
You cannot re-activate Kaioken while exhausted. The lockout is tied to Fragility, which is
the shared marker for all transformation exhaustion — so coming off Beast Transformation also
locks you out of Kaioken, and vice versa.
Kaioken also cannot be activated while another transformation is already running. They are
mutually exclusive.
The numbers push toward one conclusion: Kaioken is a finisher, not an opener.
Active Kaioken emits a crimson particle aura and a glowing coat layer visible to other players.
Everyone can see when you have committed.
